Condolence From: Sarah
Condolence: I’m so grateful for the last time I had with Leslie. Alissa and I went over with guitar in hand and songs on our hearts to share with her. Actually, before we’d even mentioned our plans, she had messaged us asking us if we would do just that…that she wanted to worship together with us.

I only knew Leslie during the time she was at Spoken Word Church, and that only as I’ve travelled back and forth for visits over the last year and a half, but in those times, I came to know her beautiful smile, her love for Jesus, her passion to help people, her dreams of missions, and her love of worship. To be able to sing with her that day will be a precious memory always.

Although we sang many songs… about joy, about casting our cares, about overcoming by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, about thankfulness… Leslie’s specific request was what she called “the Rainbow Song”, more commonly known as “The Revelation Song”. She told us it was her favorite.

In her passing as we celebrate her LIFE, both her life lived on this earth, as well as the life she continues to live with her Father and Savior, I’m reminded of this song. It describes the awesomeness of our God in the midst of worship unto Him. The last verse speaks of the marvelous mysteries of who He is and being filled with wonder at the mention of His Name.

Well, Leslie has now experienced the wonders and glory of being in His presence in a way the rest of us who have received Him have yet to experience; and those things that may remain mysteries to us for now are no longer mysteries to her. She caught a glimpse while here on this earth and made her choice to go…and her loving Savior welcomed her home.

My heart is glad for her, knowing that she is in the presence of our Lord, but I’ll miss the opportunities to laugh and sing with her more here. Still, I know that she is in my future and not just in my past, and that eternity holds songs yet to be sung…together in His presence forever. Love you, Leslie…

Condolence: Brown family, sorry to hear about your loss. We can look forward to 1 Corinthians 15;26 being fulfilled. That Scripture let us know that 'the last enemy, death will be brought to nothing.' Margaret
