Opalee Fowler Pressley
Brevard – Opalee Fowler Pressley, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Remalia Fowler and was the wife of the late Lawrence Pressley.
Mrs. Pressley was very involved in church and things of the Lord. She was a loving mother and was loved and admired by many. Mrs. Pressley was a member of Rosman Pentecostal Lighthouse and she loved music and flowers.
Surviving are her sons, Dennis Pressley of Pisgah Forest and Charles Pressley of Rosman; daughters, Bobbie Roberts and husband Keith of Pisgah Forest, Martha Pressley of Rosman, Karen Pressley of Lexington, NC, and Addie Cowart and husband David of Thomasville, NC; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 15, 2014 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Pressley officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
