Carolyn Thelma Ayers
Asheville – Carolyn Thelma Ayers, 68, was called Home by her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 14, 2014. She passed away peacefully at the Brian Center of Brevard.
Carolyn “Carol” was the daughter of the late Ticie Talmadge Ayers, Sr. and Eva Evette Phillips Ayers. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Ticie Talmadge Ayers, Jr. and Andrew Earl Ayres, and sisters, Rosa Lee Powell, Norma Ann Galloway, and Elaine Raines.
Carol lived and worked most of her adult life in Asheville. She was a 1964 graduate of Brevard High School.
She is survived by two brothers, Charles Logan Ayers of Pisgah Forest and Allen Ray Ayers of Brevard; three sisters, Helen Jewell Hightower of Brevard, and Shirley Louise and Cissy Faye Ayers of Asheville; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will held to celebrate her life at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
