Linda “Gail” Bush
Arden- Linda “Gail” Bush, 55, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Roy and Dora Owens Metcalf. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard “Buddy” Bush, brother in law, Richard Long and mother in law, Myrtle Bush.
Gail was born and raised in Penrose. She was an artist and was very crafty. She adored animals and loved to paint. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her son; Johnny Bush of Arden, daughters; Daphne Bush Ownbey and fiancee Chris Coker of Arden and Melissa “Missy” Duncan of Thomasville, NC, brothers; Kenneth Metcalf of Old Fort, NC, sister; Brenda Metcalf of Penrose, brother in laws; Steve Bush and wife Jackie and Danny Bush and wife Linda, sister in law; Nancy Long, grandchildren; Syara Ownbey, Travis Duncan, Austin Ownbey and Justin Ownbey and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:30pm, Friday, September 26, 2014 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home from 1pm until 2pm also on Friday.
