Charlotte Ann Snelson Wright

Charlotte Ann Snelson Wright, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Keith Alvin Wright entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, 181 S. Caldwell St, Brevard, NC, at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Upper Zachary Cemetery, Cashiers, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service in Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.

Charlotte was born March 31, 1933 in Brevard, NC, daughter of the late Ralph Thomas Snelson and Sarah Isabell Burris Snelson. She grew up and resided in Brevard, NC until her late twenties when she had the opportunity to travel all over the U.S. as a military wife. Charlotte landed in Chesapeake, VA in 1969 for a decade and then called Charleston her full time home in 1979. She was a member of the Christian Women's Club and Eastern Star.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Keith Alvin Wright; two sons: Chris McCrary of Morganton, NC, and Keith Andrew Wright & wife, Angie Wright of Charleston, SC; daughter, Celia Ann Wright-DuPriest & husband, Steven Craig DuPriest of Mount Pleasant, SC; brother, Pete Snelson of Pickens, SC; four grandchildren: Brittany Morgan Whittemore, Peyton DuPriest, Dustin Schell, and Rachael Swaintek, and five great-grandchildren.
