Obituary for Terence Dennis Mather

Brevard - Terence Dennis Mather passed away on July 27, 2015, at his home. He was 92.
Dennis was born on May 2, 1923 in County Durham England. He lived for many years in NJ, where he owned his own construction business. He was a long time member of both the Copestone Lodge Masonic Temple, and the Scotts American Club of Kearny, NJ. Dennis was an avid golfer with several club championships under his belt. After retirement he worked at Etowah Valley County Club where he had many friends and colleagues. He was a devoted husband, father and Papa.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jane Mather; son Ian Mather and wife Karla of Brevard, NC; daughter Leigh Morgan and husband Joe of Long Pond, Pa; daughter-in-law Tracy Mather and husband Jim of Brevard, NC; son-in-law Frank Kinney and wife Darlene of Mt. Bethel, Pa; four grandchildren, Brad Kinney of Mt. Bethel, Pa; Tyler Kinney and wife Nicolle of Mt. Bethel, Pa; Dennis Mather of Brevard, NC; Layne Barber and husband Dell of Etowah, NC; and two great granddaughters, Kinley Barber and Riley Kinney.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 37 Villa Rd, Greenville, SC 29615.
