Obituary for Deborah Leighanne Hendon

Deborah Leighanne Hendon
Deborah Hendon, 31. of Brevard, passed away the morning of September 12, 2015 in her home.
Written across the front of her home porch you will find:
“Dream Big, Love Often, Laugh Much”
This pretty well describes the life of Deborah Hendon. She had huge dreams, loved everyone and helped others to Laugh Much. Even though Deborah did not have much in this life, she knew how to use what she did have and she would give her all to others. She sought to calm the broken hearted with her compassionate words and her smile would light up the world around her. Deborah wanted to shine for the Lord Jesus Christ so others would come to know His love as she did. She loved giving hair-cuts, perms and up-dos because she said it helped people like themselves a little more that day. Deborah was always looking for a way to cheer a sad soul or brighten the day of someone in a slump. She was full of life and could accomplish just about anything with very little at hand. However, Deborah’s greatest accomplishments, by far are her 5 beautiful children whom she loved and adored. Kathy Honeycutt, Andrew Honeycutt, Timothy Honeycutt, Julia Fuller and David Fuller were the light of her life.
Also surviving are Grandparents; Larry and Ellen Randolph, her parents; Chaplain Willie & Julie Hendon, Her siblings; James Hendon and Wife Liuba Hendon, Samuel Hendon, Krissie Williams and Husband Derek Williams, Rebekah Dean and Husband Jerry Paul Dean and Ericka Hendon as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Bill & Hattie Hendon.

All friends and family are invited to join us in a celebration of Deborah’s Life on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Brevard Community Church located at 417 Morris Road in Brevard, NC. Viewing will be at 1 pm and services will begin at 2 pm.
