Condolences

Condolence From: Jerry (M) Whitmire
Condolence: So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was so kind to give me and my wife, Bonnie, a warm welcome back to this area when we moved back after I had been gone for over fifty years. This was at Cathy's Creek when he was playing with Roy Chapman and others. Joe recognized me and Bonnie publicly that night and helped us feel so much "at home" again.

We'll always cherish his memory.

Jerry and Bonnie Whitmire

Condolence From: WW Gilman
Condolence: This is a word of praise for a gallant and beautiful person. For the last 15 years Jo always greeted us with a smile and warm handshake never allowing his personal problems to appear. His memory will always be cherished by my family for the joy he gave to us with his smile, his voice and his guitar. I thank God tonight for allowing us to have shared time in his presence. When a man like Joe crosses your path his footprints on your heart stay there forever. I am sad that he has gone on but glad to no that he is In a better place untouched by human hands eternally in heaven. I somehow know that Joe and Mary are together again and singing like two angels in Roy Chapmans Band. God Bless the family left behind but please know there are thousands like myself who's lives are better because they heard Joe sing and share his Special Gospel. Warmest Blessings, WW Gilman
