Obituary for James Tyler "T-Wong" Warren

James Tyler "T-Wong"  Warren
Brevard – James Tyler “T-Wong” Warren, 29, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016.

He was the son of Jerry W. and Robbie Whitlock Warren. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; James and Geneva Whitlock, Sr., Clyde and Opal Smith, grandparents; L. Vance and Bonnie Lucas Warren and one uncle; Dennis Mark Warren.

Tyler was a dedicated and passionate public servant. He was Transylvania County’s Assistant Forestry Ranger who took great pride in being an instructor and loved his forestry brothers. Tyler enjoy blues music. He was the family comedian and could make everyone laugh and smile. He could light up a room with his infectious smile. To know him was to love him. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, survivors include the love of his life, Kelley Eyster and her son Waylon Whitmire, sister Natalie Warren Pace(Adam) of Louisville, KY; grandparents, James, Jr and Barbara Whitlock of Ladson, SC; aunt and uncle; Kelvin and Gayla “Momma Gayla” Whitlock Phillips and James H. II and Rita Whitlock of Summerville, SC; uncles, Patrick Warren and Phillip Samuel Womble, aunt; Pam Ray, nephew; Joseph Jeremiah Pace and cousins; Jillian(Matthew), Ian(Alicia), Jimmy, Michelle, Carrie, Christopher, Travis, Claire and Cooper and all of his forestry brothers.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Brevard with the Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Brevard.
