Eldon Galloway
Brevard – Eldon Galloway, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday morning, August 14, 2016.
Just as his church family began praise and worship, Eldon was also praising and worshiping with the many loved ones gone before him.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Alga H. Galloway and Cumile Owen Galloway. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Thelma O. Owen.
Eldon retired from Olin after twenty-seven years of service.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Ollie Owen Galloway; three daughters, Gayleen Tritt (Larry), Rhonda Manley, Pamela Barefoot; one son, Gerald Galloway; three grandchildren, Sabrina Tritt, Capt. Jonathan Manley, Tyler Barefoot; two step-grandchildren, John and Mike Galloway; three great-granddaughters, Savannah Grace Manley, Chloe Cheyenne Manley, Bristol Terryn Manley; three sisters, Wilma Galloway, Velma Lou Baynard, Elwyn G. Lance; four brothers, Hoyt Galloway, Ernest L.C. Galloway, Kenneth S.T. Galloway, Burder Galloway.
A time of remembrance and joy will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
