Betty Chittum Hughart (Chittum)
Brevard - Betty C. Hughart, 87, of Cedar Mountain, NC, died Aug. 18, 2016 at her home, after a brief illness of MDS.
The retired music teacher taught many years at Disston Junior High School and Tyrone Middle School in St. Petersburg, FL. She was a member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church in Brevard, NC.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter. Joseph and his wife, Dee; James; John and his wife, Pam; and Jane and HC Rackley; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held in Morgantown, WV.
