Obituary for Harold Owen
Rosman – Harold Owen, 81, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
He was the son of the late Fred and Otha Estelle Chapman Owen. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Howard Owen; sister, Estelle Larsen; brothers, Edgar and Ronnie Owen and one grandchild.
Harold served in the U S Navy for 23 years as a Naval Officer.
Survivors include his son; Ronnie Owen of Panama City, FL, daughters; Janet Raso and husband Leon of Panama City, FL, Karen Owen of Panama City, FL and Sharon King and husband Stephen of Ocala, FL; brothers, Charles Owen of Easley, SC, Gerald Owen and wife Mary of Rosman, Michael Owen and wife Sandra of Pisgah Forest, Carl Owen and wife Anita of Rupert, ID and Brian Owen of Rosman; sisters, Thelma Cantrell of Rosman, Jeannette Owen of Easley, SC and Vonda Harding and husband Michael of Kalispell, MT; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1pm, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery with military honors provided by the Transylvania County Honor Guard.
