Obituary for Patricia Lynn Carrington (Kinghorn)
Patricia K. Carrington age 58 died November 29, 2016 from a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Born August 18, 1958 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Robert and Barbara Kinghorn, Pat lived her life with a passion and energy that most would envy. Throughout her 58 years she lived in 8 states and made many many friends wherever she went. Pat never met a stranger, had a magnetic personality, a ready smile, a wicked sense of humor and a contagious laugh.
She graduated from Freedom High School in Bethlehem Pennsylvania in 1976. From there she went to Rhode Island to attend and graduated from Bryant College. It was during her first semester in college where she met the love of her life Bill Carrington. Pat and Bill enjoyed 40 years together and raised 2 sons, William Carrington IV and Brian Carrington all of Brevard. Pat and her family moved to Brevard in 2001. During those 15 years she was employed by the T.C. School System and most recently by College Walk Senior Center.
Pat is proceeded in death by her father S. Robert Kinghorn, brother Dale Kinghorn, mother in law Lilian Carrington, sister in law Mary Beth Cianci, and nephew Jason Cianci.
She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her husband Bill Carrington, sons Billy and Brian (fiancé Allie Perkins), mother Barbara Kinghorn, sister Stephanie Snyder (husband Bill), father in law William Carrington Jr., brother in law; John Carrington, sister in law Susan Andrusis (husband Scott) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 3:00pm Sunday Dec. 4, 2016 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home.
