Condolence: My condolences to the Ducker family. I knew Mr. Ducker briefly but will always remember him. He gave me something called a "Buckeye", I had never seen one before.

Condolence: To the Ducker Family,
I first met Dennis when I joined the Dept. of State Treasurer as NC Deputy State Treasurer/Assistant to NC Treasurer, Harlan E. Boyles, in 1996.
Dennis was maticulious in his assigned duties, and in his wardrobe.
I often asked for his cast off Brooks Brothers suits.
At the Retirement Dinner for Dennis, at the City Club the first course was Vichyssoise. I asked the wait staff to rewarm my soup. This was classic Dennis Ducker, May he Rest In Peace.

SIncerely,

Condolence: Dear Members of the Ducker Family,
I had the pleasure and honor to work with Dennis on many occasions during his career as Deputy State Treasurer and to serve as Director of the NC Retired Governmental Employees Association when Dennis was President and member of the Board. He truly was a brilliant mentor, a committed public servant, a defender of our retirement systems, but above all, a loyal friend. I never had a conversation with Dennis where I did not learn something of value, whether the subject be the political history of the state, the intricacies of financing the retirement system, or any of a host of topics.
I share your grief and sorrow on his loss. I will truly miss Dennis but will take comfort in the knowledge that he enriched the lives of all who knew him.---Ed Regan

Condolence: To the Ducker Family, I did not know either of you, but your Son and Brother, Dennis, became a good friend of mine over the years as I came to Brevard. Many lunches together and many fun times. I truly will miss Dennis. My prayers go out to you. Furman Walter, Anderson, SC
