Condolence: I knew Peter when I lived in Connestee Falls and worked with him during the clubhouse referendum. I had some contact with Peter after I moved from CF, during the period after his diagnosis but prior to his planned (HIPEC?) surgery. I knew a little bit about this as my sister had been recommended for the same procedure. I regret not keeping in contact with Peter, but my life was in a state of transition and flux. Peter was a truly good person. He was kind, thoughtful, and very intelligent. He brought a sense of calm and perspective to all of our conversations. He cared about his community and served it well. I remember his dog, who must miss him as much as any of us. I was saddened to hear of Peter's death. When I volunteered for Hospice we hoped all of our clients would have a good death, that they were comforted by their family and friends and that there was not too much pain. I hope Peter had a good death. I will miss him.
