Obituary for Angela Diedre Brown

Angela Deidre Brown was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 13th, 2018, at Mission St. Joseph's Hospital.

A Transylvania County native, she was born on March 27th, 1963 to Wilda Smith and the late Arville Brown. A caring friend and mother to all that knew her, to Angela if you were a friend, you became family.

She is survived by her mother Wilda Smith; sister Tabitha Brown; brothers Jamie Brown and Rich Brewer; daughter Jaime Bogaert; son Zackery Stiles; and “bonus children” Alicia Fisher and Tracy Shipman, as well as several close family friends.

She was a newspaper carrier in the Brevard area for over twenty years and devoted her spare time to rescuing German Shepherds and fostering abused animals. She was very active in the South Eastern German Shepherd Rescue Group, a cause very important to her.

As much as she loved her animals, she was even more excited about becoming a grandma. There was nothing was more important to her than preparing for the arrival of her first grandchild, a special blessing bestowed upon her by her son Zackery Stiles and Michaela Meece.

Memorial services will be held at the Affirmative Word Tabernacle on Thursday, May 17th, at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her honor to the South Eastern German Shepherd Rescue Group.
