Obituary for Ailene Adcock Ashe
Ailene Adcock Ashe, age 74, of Pisgah Forest, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Mrs. Ashe was born on November 4, 1943 in Henderson Co., NC to the late Ceiville Warren Adcock and Bessie Goodwin Adcock. She was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Mark Ashe, three brothers, C.W. Adcock, Jr., Richard Adcock, James Earl Adcock, and one sister, Wanda Adcock Miller.
Survivors include her husband, Roy N. Ashe; daughter, Melanie Ashe Delgadillo and husband Rafael of New Orleans, LA; four sisters, Louise Chapman of Rosman, Lois Bayne of Zirconia, Elaine Harwood of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Dorothy Harberson of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Isaac and Jacob Ashe, Esenia Elena Delgadillo, Mallory York; three great-grandchildren, Eathan, Brantley, and Walker Ashe; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, July 1, 2018 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at St.jude.org.
