Obituary

Allen Kay Fisher 77, a loving and devoted Husband, Daddy, and Papaw went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday night, December 25, 2019.

Allen was a lifelong resident of Transylvania County and resided in the Eastatoe Community of Rosman.

Allen was the son of the late Perry Clifford and Madgie Malinda Anders Fisher. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his grandson, Shawn Anthony Fisher and Granddaughter, McKenna Nicole Fisher, sisters Laura Fisher Anthony and Shirley Fisher Mitchell.

Allen attended Transylvania County Schools and was a retired painter. He loved the outdoors and especially the living in mountains. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and growing a big garden but most of all he loved family gatherings and spending time with the people he loved.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Hunter Fisher, who was the love of his life, sons Rodney H. Fisher (Cathy) of Lake Toxaway, Shawn A. Fisher (Tracy) of Blantyre, Chad C. Fisher (Sonja) of Rosman, Chasta F. Fisher of Rosman and Shane W. Fisher (Jessica) of Seneca, SC. Daughters Cora Nichole Fisher of the home and Julie Bagnasco. Brothers Keith Fisher (Sherry) of Blantyre, Don Fisher of Lake Toxaway, Johnny Fisher of Brevard, and Ray Hendricks. Sisters Martha Turner and Linda Owen both of Brevard. 13 grandchildren Scott, Dylan, Atlanta, Peyton, Braden, Kanen, Kreishala, Kolton, Destiny, Malachi, Gage, Mikaylah, and Hunter. 4 great grandchildren Easton, Xyrek, Zenelix, and Ariel. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Saturday January 4, 2020 at Catheys Creek Baptist Church with pastors Malcolm Lance, Alan Johnson and Tony Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
