Obituary for Ana Luisa Perez
Pisgah Forest - Ana Luisa Perez, 88 yrs old, departed to Heaven at on January 2, 2022 after a struggle with the complications of Covid, then pneumonia and passed peacefully at Cedar Mountain House.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luisa Gonzalez and Crescencio Perez also from Cuba.
Mrs. Perez was born in Esperanzas de Las Villa, Cuba and came to the US in her late 20s. She lived and worked in New York where she studied to be a Cosmetologist. She loved showing off her long painted nails and doing the same for others, this was her pride and joy.
She married Ortemio Perez and they had Albert Perez of NY, Perla Decker (mother of Anthony, whom Mom loved so much). She lived in her later years with daughter Maggie Roth of Pisgah forest, other children, Victor Perez, Atlanta, Evelyn. Jose, Paul, FL. A loving mother, tender and kind, what a beautiful memory left behind.
Ana was a happy person and enjoyed helping and doing for others. She loved to sing and dance to Spanish music, but could also sing along to the Beatles.
