Obituary for Bert Roger Dodson
Brevard - Bert Roger Dodson, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
Roger was born on April 24, 1947 in Transylvania County. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Rev. Bert Dodson and Roberta Dodson, both natives of Transylvania County.
Roger was a member of Rosman Pentecostal Lighthouse. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord. Nothing made him happier than hearing the word of God and worshiping with his church family. He loved gospel music and playing his guitar at church. Roger was a very loved member of the community and touched many hearts and lives. He will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday April 13, 2022 at the Pentecostal Lighthouse in Rosman. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
