Obituary for Betty Jean Danielson
Hendersonville - Betty Jean Danielson, age 92, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021.
She was born September 24, 1928 to the late Cordia and A.O. Danielson in Robbinsville, NC. She was preceded in death by her sisters Joyce Galloway, Geraldine Benson and Peggy Rogers, brothers,
John Danielson, Peter Jay Danielson and Herbert Danielson.
She moved to Brevard, NC as a teen, living and working a good part of her life there.
She was a member of Cathy’s Creek Baptist Church for many years as well as Horse Shoe Baptist.
She was well known in Brevard for years as being a great cook at Varner’s drug store cafe making it a breakfast and lunch spot favorite.
Survivors include brothers, Al Danielson of Lakeland FL and Steve Danielson (Brenda) of Marietta, SC, very close niece and family who loved and cared for her until the end, Joy Osburn, great niece, Jessica Alford (Chris) and Emily Boot (Josh), great great nieces, Leah Alford and Sadie Boot, great great nephews, Peyton Alford and Mason Alford who were all 4 the light of her life. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Family was everything to Betty.
Services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with nephew, Rev. Joe Canipe officiating. The family will receie friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with her great nephews Rev. Jayson Rogers and Rev. Jason Canipe officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Four Seasons Hospice, who are angels on earth, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
