Betty M. Farris passed away on February 11, 2022 at home, in Walhalla, SC, peacefully at the age of 96.
She was born in Clendenin, West Virginia, on May 22, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Farris, her son Paul H. Shamblin, and a great grandson Paul B. Shamblin. She was survived by 4 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and 1 on the way.
Betty worked at the corporate headquarters of Tupperware for 25 years in Kissimmee, Florida. When she retired she enjoyed traveling with her husband, all over the United States. She loved Alaska. She also loved square dancing. She and Ray traveled all over the United States to dance. When it was time to come home close to family, she came to Brevard, NC, residing at College Walk community. She loved playing Rummikub with her friends and family.
Betty is gone from this present life but will not be forgotten.
