Obituary for Billy Daryl Owen
Pisgah Forest - Billy Owen passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Born on September 17,1962, he closed his beautiful blue eyes and his last car hood as he journeyed to heaven to be with Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Desmond Owen; mother and father, James Roland and Marie Wilson Owen; his brother, Wayne Nolan Owen; and his favorite fur baby, Machete
He was a longtime employee of Larry Wilson's Auto Shop and Joe Lance Auto Parts where he served his family, friends, and strangers alike. He loved and respected both of his bosses with all of his heart and considered himself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work for them.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Brenda (Joy) Morgan Owen. She always considered him her knight in shining armor and he considered her his soulmate. Everyone knew they were attached at the heart and hand and rarely separated. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three children which he loved beyond explanation, Rhianna Owen and her husband, Patrick Cooke, Trista Owen, and Jacob Owen. Five awesome grandkids, who were the apple of his eyes, Khaos Xhaiden Cooke, Finnyx Winter Cooke, Anika Rose Blow, Zaelynn Bliss Owen, and last but certainly not least, Sophie Elizabeth Owen, mother-in-law, Clara Galloway Morgan who loved and respected him from start to finish, many nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, loving sister, Linda Segur.

I know Billy would like to thank his friends, family, and cohorts for making his life rich, colorful, and meaningful.
