She and her daughters returned to Transylvania County 15 years later. She worked at Brevard College and retired from College Walk in 2009. She valued her job and her co-workers.
Brenda was a quiet soul and gentle in spirit. She was an awesome cook and everyone enjoyed her specialties - potato salad and dressing. She enjoyed watching Tar Heel basketball and car racing, especially Dale Earnhardt. She and Buddy spent a lot of time watching Western movies.
Brenda was a believer and we know we will see her again in Heaven. Special thanks go to Care Partners Hospice of Transylvania County - Amanda Alexander, Tenille Holden, Katie Raines, and Dr. Morris Jenkins. Your care and support are much appreciated.
