Obituary for Bruce Henry Layman
Bruce Henry Layman, 79, of Brevard passed away peacefully Saturday February 25, after a brief illness.
Born March 14, 1943, in Hamden, CT, he was the son of the late Chesleigh and Shirley Layman.
Bruce was predeceased by his wife Dolly. He is survived by his sister Shirley (Neil) Brouillette and niece April; daughters Sandra and Rene Bisson of Boca Raton, FL, Shannon and Jay Norton of Oxford, NC; grandchildren Christina (Jonathan) Waldon, Jonathan (Cassandra) Bisson, Justice, and Savannah Norton; great-grandchildren Lillianne Bisson, Keith McNeil, Tobias, and Riley Bisson. Bruce is also survived by his long-time friends LoisAnne and Joe Lance and their family.
Bruce enjoyed all things cars. This included his 30-year career at Travelers Insurance and his retirement ‘side business’ Collector Car Appraisals. He loved the car shows and his car clubs, but most of all it was the life-long friends he met through the fellowship he found at these events.

A memorial celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 2pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, Brevard.
