Obituary for Carolyn McCall (Sentell)
Carolyn Sentell McCall, born on May 8, 1928, went to meet her Lord on April 27, 2022.
She was a native of Transylvania County and had lived most of her life in Mills River. Mrs. McCall was the daughter of the late Ed and Marjorie Sentell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar McCall, and a nephew, Alan Turpin.
She is survived by her three children, Tommy McCall (Christine), Terry McCall (Sharon), and Sheila Skeparnis; one sister, Allie Turpin and husband Zeb; one nephew, David Turpin (Wanda); two great nephews and one great-great nephew.
Her interests were Westerns, NASCAR, reading, and of course, her family.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Turkey Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
