I will always remember Charles as being kind, funny, easy going and always the same day in and day out. He never acted better than anyone else or less than anyone else, he just acted like Charlie at all times and I loved that about him. He loved life and lived it as best he could to the fullest. He was never afraid to go out and try new things and always had a story to tell. He was a part of our everyday lives and we will miss him so very much. Every year when we go to Western North Carolina mountain State Fair he was there practically every single night. He loved going to the fair and always came with Brenda until Brenda was no longer able to come with him. He missed her coming with him I know. Every year now we will miss him being there. We will miss him being at the gatherings Lester and Dee's house. He was always good to come when he was invited and we always loved his presence. He will certainly be missed at Santee where he love to go and catch those big old catfish. I heard the story from Lester that on his last day here on Earth he told them that they were having a parade and that he was supposed to be there and that his mom and Annabelle were there at the gate waiting for him. What a sweet story on his last day here with us. Makes you smile. Go rest high on that mountain Charles Brown. We love you when we will miss you dearly.
