Charles J. Brown, age 84, of Brevard , passed away on December 4, 2019.
He was the son of the late James and Lora McCall Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Bell Devore Brown and a brother, Johnny Brown.
Charles was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Brown-Young and husband Frank of Oxford, AL, Debbie Crane and husband Bobby of Cedar Mountain and Angela Johnson and husband David of Brevard, five brothers, Ed Brown of Brevard, Lester Brown and wife Delores of Etowah, Ernest Brown and wife Edna of Brevard, Chester Brown and wife Janice of Avon, NC and Roy Brown and wife Nannette of Gresham, OR, one sister, Carolyn Johnson and husband Carl of Hendersonville, two grandsons, Jimmy and Brandon and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Monday, December 9, 2019 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
