Obituary for Charles Howard Norris
Charles Howard Norris, age 86, of Horseshoe passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
He was the son of the late George and Evie Barton Norris. He was preceded in death by his wife Willa Jean Owen Norris, three brothers, Lewis, Willis and Frank Norris and one sister, Emily Luggett.
Mr. Norris was a simple, friendly man who loved his family and provided for his children.
Survivors include four sons, Jim Norris and wife Lydia of Anderson, SC, Keith Norris and wife Gina of Brevard, Clay Norris and wife Shonna of Pisgah Forest and Pastor Chris Norris and wife Kristie of Hendersonville, five daughters, Marsha Brown of Pisgah Forest, Wanda Henderson and husband Tim of Pisgah Forest, Sarah Griffin of Pisgah Forest, Barbara Owen of Lake Toxaway and Debbie Johnson and husband Buddy of Cashiers, one brother, Tim Norris and wife Vanessa of Pickens, SC, one sister, Susan Daves and husband Junior of Pickens, SC, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12pm, Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Norris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
