Obituary for Charles Edward Pressley
Charles Edward Pressley, 70, of Rosman passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Solace Hospice Center. He was born January 22, 1951, to the late Lawrence Pressley and Opalee Barton. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Libby Pressley.
He was a graduate of Rosman High School, an Army veteran, and a welder by trade. He retired from Rockwell International. He enjoyed coaching youth football, hunting, and fishing.
Charles is survived by his daughter Cynthia Pressley Parker and her husband Matt of Brevard; his son Charles E. Pressley II and his wife Kristy of Balsam Grove; his grandchildren, Brinlyn and Colter Pressley who were the apple of his eye; his sisters, AddieBee Cowart and her husband David of Thomasville, Karen Pressley of Thomasville, Martha Pressley of Brevard, and Bobbie Roberts and her husband Keith of Penrose, and brother Dennis Pressley of Hendersonville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday January 21, 2022, at 2 pm at Middlefork Baptist Church in Rosman.
