Cedar Mountain - Christopher Phillip Baines, age 61, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
He was born November 10, 1961 in Transylvania County. He married Renee Baines on September 4, 1991. He worked as a Maintenance Man at Camp Greenville for 29 years. Chris had an ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. His laugh, humor, knowledge, and selflessness will be missed.
He was the son of Dallas and Catherine Baines.
He is survived by his wife; Renee Baines, his sister; Elaine Hayes, his daughter; Katie Baines, and his son; Brandon Baines.
