Obituary for Clifford Lemuel McCall

Clifford Lemuel McCall of Pisgah Forest went home went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15 2019.
Mr. McCall was a loving husband and father. He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed by Olin Corporation for 40 years.
Clifford was born December 12, 1924 to the late Burton and Roxy McCall he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Vardery, Ronald, Ward, Edgar, L.V., Clinton and Warrior, two sisters, Bernies Tapley and Eunice Ayers.
Survivors include his wife Margaret McCall of 36 years, children, Danny McCall, Gail Brown, Glenn McCall, stepchildren, Katrin Mooney, Charles Harris and Crystal Harris, grandchildren, Christopher Mooney, Kwame Harris, Nicholas Mooney and Kerrington Howell, great-great grandchildren, Anilah Mooney and Arza Mooney, two brothers, Coy and his wife Betty McCall and Sidney McCall, two sister in-laws, Carolyn McCall and Carolyn Robinson and a host of nieces and nephews.
God gave Clifford so much passion and zeal for life. One of his favorite hobbies was carpentry. He loved the challenge of building and creating things with his hands. Another passion was the great outdoors. Enjoyed hunting but mainly just for the camping and feeding all the wildlife such as birds, deers and honey bee's that passed through his yard. He was a great bee keeper and he love it! Clifford was known for his quick wit, that stayed sharp until the end, his infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit that will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Marshall Erwin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
