Pisgah Forest - Daniel Clifton Rogers, 37, went to be with his heavenly father Sunday, March 21, 2021.
He lived all his life in Transylvania county and was the son of Mike and Maria McCall Rogers of Pisgah Forest.
Daniel was a kindhearted, loving man. He would greet you with a big smile and was a joy to be around. He would help or do anything he could for anyone. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and taking walks with his beloved dog, Sugar, that he loved so much and missed so much after she was gone. He had many special memories of going to the lake with his family and fishing with Sugar all his life. Daniel also loved going to the dragstrip with his dad. He loved his family and the special bond he had with his niece Brylee and nephew Brantley, they loved their Uncle D. He would talk about the happiness you could feel and know by knowing Jesus Christ as your savior. Daniel was a member of Little River Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized. He also loved Macedonia Church where he went with his Papaw and Nannie growing up. He cherished the special years he had with them. We will sadly miss him everyday, but will see him again.
In addition to his parents, survivors include, sister, Jessica Rogers Stanley, and husband Kyle Stanley, niece and nephew Brylee and nephew Brantley of Little River, along with many cousins and special friend Megan Stroupe.
Graveside services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Mack McCall Cemetery with the Rev. Lamar Owen officiating.
