Harold Lane Mathis, age 72 of Pisgah Forest passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
Mr. Mathis was born on June 10, 1946 in Jackson Co., NC to the late Ranzie and Janet Melton Mathis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from Dupont, and a member of Little River Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Sarah McCrary Mathis; one daughter, Tekoah Mathis of Mills River; two sons, Kevin Mathis and wife Whitney of Little River and Rick Barnett and wife Christy of Duluth, GA; three grandchildren, Laurin Barnett of AL, Rhett Barnett and Chapman Barnett both of GA; special nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and aunts in Jackson Co.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Little River Baptist Church.
