Jerry was a quiet soul and gentle in spirit. He was an awesome cook and enjoyed sharing his dishes with his family. He liked to watch car racing, especially Dale Ernhardt. A favorite pastime was to sit on his front porch with a Pepsi or Mountain Dew and just watch cars pass by. For years he would go to his niece Marcia’s hair salon and visit with her customers and sweep the shop for her. He never met a stranger. He drove a Chevy Tahoe and spent many Sunday afternoons looking through car lots to see what new Chevrolet vehicles were available.
A graveside service will be held 1pm, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Galloway Memorial Park.
