John Andrew Curro, age 84 of Brevard, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home under hospice care.
John was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Anna Fallica Curro. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, John Jr. who died at age 50.
John lived on Long Island, NY before moving to Brevard. He loved living in Brevard for the past 32 years and loved the people here and he loved helping people. John had been working and trying to get things finished around his home. He loved talking to people and he got along with everyone.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joan; four sons, Jim, Joseph, Jerry and Jeff.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 24, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Military Honors provided by the Transylvania County Honor Guard.
