Obituary for John Theodore Osborne
Pisgah Forest - Ted Osborne, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
He was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, to the late William Warlick and Nila Candler Osborne. After graduating from Hendersonville High School in 1953, he served in the US Navy and was stationed in Japan. He was a 1962 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS degree in electrical engineering and received a Masters degree in engineering from Texas Tech in 1983. A senior engineer with AT&T, he retired in 1989.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 63 years, Janice; children: Julie Gonzales of Brevard, Melissa Parrish (Tony) of Cocoa, Florida, Stuart Osborne (Stacy) of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Alison Miller (Robert) of Clermont, Florida; grandchildren: Nicholas Osborne, Elaine Gonzales, Paige Miller, Gracie Osborne; and one great grandchild, Kai Osborne. He is also survived by his sister, Bertie Toler, of Flat Rock, North Carolina.
At his request his remains will be buried at sea.
