John Richard Roberts, Jr., “Rick”, age 52, of Brevard, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018.
He was the son of the late John Roberts, Sr. and Ella Mae Todd Roberts. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy Roberts.
Rick was lovingly called “Bear” or “Ricky Bobby” by his family and close friends. He was a hard worker who enjoyed life having fun. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandpa and friend.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Susan Shook Roberts, one son, Levi Roberts of Brevard, two daughters, Kayla Hall and husband Adrian of Hendersonville and Jennifer Eyman and husband Doug of Springfield, MO, one brother, Michael Roberts of Asheville, one sister, Tammy Barker and husband Jim of Candler, grandchildren, Jordan, JaCeline, Bryson, Skylar, McKenzie, Isaac and Raegan and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1pm, Friday, September 14, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Life Celebrations. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
