I extend love and sympathy to your family in the passing of Kenneth. I was very sorry to read of Kenneth’s passing. I did not know him but I know some of the Angel family in Franklin. The obituary mentioned that Kennerh sang in gospel quartets. He, like many of the Macon County Angel Family have a wonderful musical ability. I was particularly interested that Kenneth sang in gospel quartets. My great uncle, Earl Rickman, lived in Brevard in the 1950s. While living in Brevard, he sang in a quartet which made frequent appearances on the radio station in Brevard. He and the other members of the quartet would take their lunch hour to sing on the radio station. The quartet became rather well known in the area and were asked to sing at various churches. I was wondering, if perhaps, you may have information about the quartets Kenneth sang with and if he may have been in a quartet with Earl Rickman. Earl was born in 1911 and passed away in 2001. He was married to the late Lois Bradley, also from Macon County. Earl and Lois were charter members of Grace Baptist Church in Brevard.
