Kenneth W. Craig, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 17, 2020 in Asheville, NC.
Ken was born in Glen Rose, TX on July 14, 1954 to Donald H. Craig and Norma J. (Ross) Robinson. He married Rosemarie Benson on Aug 24, 1978.
Ken was an Attorney and he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi on January 5, 1981.
He lived in Pisgah Forest, NC and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was generous and kind, an avid golfer who loved taking the grandsons to the golf course. He had a passion for youth sports and always supported young athletes as a coach and mentor.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie Benson Craig; son, Justin T. Craig and wife Caitlin S. Craig, and their children Killian Fox Craig and Isla Scottlynn Craig all of Pisgah Forest;
Daughter, Erin G. Owen and husband Matthew S. Owen, and their son, Andrew Benson Owen, of Ft. Jackson, SC; parents, Norma Robinson, and Donald Craig.
A funeral service will be held Monday February 24 at 3 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ,980 Neely Rd, Brevard, NC 28712 with military rights conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Transylvania Co. Honor Guard.
