Obituary for Kristina Holland
Brevard - Dr. Kristina Holland, 57, passed away on December 23, 2021, peacefully in her home, surrounded by friends and family.
A life long professor, she was grateful for her home parish of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church and was forever blessed to be a mentor of youth, where she fostered relationships with others that are everlasting. As we embark upon the continued Advent season, we remember that Advent is a season of waiting for the coming of the Lord. As we grieve the loss of her Earthly life, she no longer has to wait for the coming of the Lord. She is finally walking again in Heaven with the Lord, and, as we all are confident, DANCING.
Kristina is survived by loved ones, daughter Palmer Holland, son-in-law Graham Nichols, and granddaughter, Marley-Katherine Nichols, Kristina’s partner, Tony Cammack, his son Shaun Cammack and daughter Molly Cammack, parents, Dorene Holland and Clinton Holland, Jr., sister Glenda Newell, and brother-in-law, Leroy Newell, and nieces Montana and Fallon Newell, and nephew-in-law, Robby Graham.
We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ALS Association or Americans with Disabilities Act. Celebration of life arrangements will be announced after the holiday season.
