Obituary for Keith Newton
Leslie Keith Newton, age 59, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Keith was born on Wednesday, January 27, 1960 in Brevard, NC where he lived most of his life until he and his father moved to Etowah, NC. After his father passed away in 2011 his oldest brother came to live with him after Dean’s wife passed. They lived there until Keith moved to Rosman to live with is daughter for health reasons.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Howard Newton and Myrtle McCall Newton, and his sister, Sandy Newton Collins.
He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Newton of Rosman; one son, Chris Newton of Asheville; three brothers, Dean Newton of Hendersonville, Dale Newton and wife Kathy of Cedar Mountain, and Wayne Newton and wife Evelyn of Pisgah Forest; three loving granddaughters, Hannah and Sydney Hutchins of Rosman, and Lindsey Newton of Asheville; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
