Obituary for Louise Lance (Kinsey)
Louise Kinsey Lance, age 92, of Columbus, NC passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019.
She was the daughter of the late Seaborn and Lilly Galloway Kinsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lance and one daughter, Brenda Lance.
Mrs. Lance retired from the Transylvania County School system. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and canning. She loved cats and would feed them all. She will be most remembered as a great cook, sharing her love in everything she made.
Survivors include four sons, Ronny Lance and wife Edith of Columbus, NC, Mike Lance and wife Sandy of Brevard, Jeff Lance and wife Glenda of Brevard and Mark Lance and wife Becky of Etowah, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Cathey’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
