Obituary for Margaret Beth Landreth

MARGARET BETH LANDRETH, 54, Pisgah Forest

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Beth on February 2, 2023.

Beth is the daughter of Denny and Jeanne Landreth. She is survived by her husband, Cory Davis, her daughter, Ali Landreth, her son, Kayden Landreth (Mackenzie), and grandchildren, Alex, Carter, Annalise Denni, and Isabella and Charley, her mother, Jeanne Landreth, her brother, Patrick Landreth (Beth), her best friends, Melanie Hoffman Mace and Tricia Paxton, several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends. Sweet Beth was proceeded in death by her beloved father, Denny Landreth, and her cherished granddaughter, Belle, who she missed immensely every day since their passing, and her grandparents, Jim and Macie Peterson, D.C. and Margaret Emma Landreth, and Step-Grandmother, Elease Wilson Landreth.

Beth was a 1987 graduate of Brevard High School. She enjoyed an extensive career in the medical field. She worked for Pardee Urgent Care in Pisgah Forest and Mills River where she made lots of special friends and brought comfort to others in their time of need.

Beth was born on Christmas Day and her life reflected that joy and love every day. Her beautiful smile and ability to make everyone around her feel special and loved was something to be cherished. Her presence at any occasion and in any room demanded attention in the quietest of ways. The sparkling of her blue eyes and love from within was felt with even the briefest encounter with Beth. Her life exuded love and empathy. Her children and her grandchildren were her reason for being and she loved and cherished each one and their individuality unconditionally. She found peace and solitude watching and listening to the music of the waves as she relaxed on the beach. There, she was home. Her circle of friends provided joy, peace and love to her that Beth held close to her heart. Every day of her life, she was truly “Always Me” and never left you without saying “Love You”. Her unexpected passing is felt by many and she will forever be in the hearts and minds of her loved ones and friends.

Please join our family for a Memorial service celebrating Beth on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church on Osborne Road in Brevard. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
