Obituary for Margie Holcomb (Galloway)
Margie Galloway Holcomb, age 71, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
She was the daughter of the late Howard and Fannie Wilson Galloway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kennth Holcomb, one sister, Barbara Antone and one brother, Robert Galloway.
Margie was a dedicated member of Middlefork Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bob Holcomb, one son, Scott Holcomb of Brevard, one step daughter, Glenda Lance and husband Jeff of Brevard, one brother, Richard Galloway, one sister, Sue Maxwell and husband Volley of Fletcher, grandchildren, Aaron, Cole and Christopher and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Middlefork Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester Chappell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in G. W. Whitmire Cemetery.
