Mattie was a true example of Godly love and compassion. I met her when I was young and she was our 4-H leader. Later she went to church with my parents at Woods Memorial. Over the years she has always been a blessing and given me and my family love, encouragement and friendship.
Family I am praying God gives you grace, comfort and loving. God bless you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Mattie's passing. She was such a kind person. I always loved singing with her in the choir when I was younger. She will always be remembered as a kind soul with a great big smile and a beacon of light in the Balsam Grove community.
