Obituary for Mildred Helen Cash (Hensley)
Brevard – Mildred Hensley Cash went peacefully home to be with the Lord at the age of 79 on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Paul Cash, her parents Lewis Hensley and Elizabeth Gravely Hensley, her sister Nell Hensley, brothers L.E. Hensley, Joe Hensley and Harold Hensley.
She was also a loving Mom and Grandmother and devoted her life to her family. She had many others she considered children and grandchildren and her home was always open to them and she would welcome everyone with a smile. She also had many special friends that she loved dearly and will never be forgotten. She loved holidays and always made them special. She loved decorating and Christmas was her favorite. She had Christmas trees for every room along with other beautiful decorations. She graciously opened her home for other to tour as she entertained with her delicious cookies and desserts. Like her cooking and baking, she will be surely missed.
Survivors include children Keith Allison (Karen), Kimberly Allison (Ronnie Tate) and Karen Lance (Brandon). Nine Grandchildren, , Heather Blythe (John), Jonathan Hughey (Holly), Jessica Fisher (Luke), Chase Owen (Amber), Chad Owen (Courtney), April Whitaker (Ty), Hannah Allison (Dalton McCall), Kayla Daves (Clay) and Kamden Lance. She also has thirteen great grandchildren, Baylor, Annie, Maddie, Owen, Lydia, triplets Emma, Harper and Paislee, Finley, Zoey Kate, Colton, Weston and Oliver and two sisters she dearly loved, Martha Stephens (Roger) and Barbara Stepp.
A memorial service will be held 3pm, Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
