Obituary for Nicholas Dean Wagner
Brevard - Nicholas Dean Wagner passed (67) away on January 6, 2024. Born February 26, 1956. Nick is survived by his wife Joyce. They were married in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1983. They lived in Valparaiso, Indiana and Brevard, NC. He is survived by his two daughters Libby and Bailly and his son Daniel. He had two sisters, Sherry Peterson who proceeded him in death and Gayle Berg of Fort Wayne, IN. Nick was proceeded in death by his parents Leroy Wagner and Velma Wagner (Williams).
Nick was best known for his witty dry sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collectibles as well as target practicing with his son. He loved his dogs and his horse. He also enjoyed spending time on Facebook with his family and friends.
Nick and Joyce ran a self-employed carpet cleaning, fire and water restoration business until he started an on-line business shortly before moving to North Carolina. Over the years his health began to decline because of diabetes and for the past two years was disabled due to a blood infection that went to his spine originally caused by a diabetic ulcer.
He attended Culver Military Acadamy in Culver, IN graduating in 1974 and attended junior high at Western Military Acadamy in Alton, IN.
