Obituary for Patricia Ellen Holland Hall
Patricia Holland Hall, 86, of Brevard passed away Monday, December 10, 2018.
Born September 12, 1932 in Macon County, she moved to Transylvania County at age 6 and attended Lake Toxaway School and Rosman High School. She was an active member of Cathey's Creek Baptist Church. She worked tirelessly in her home and was a wonderful, loving wife and mother. She retired from Brevard Manufacturing where she worked for 20 years as a seamstress. She loved traveling and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clinton and Blanche Holland and her husband of 49 years Clinton James Hall. Survivors include four children Elaine McCall (Larry), Judy Thomas (Dan), James C. Hall, and Donna Cronic (Glen); seven grandchildren, Andrea McCall Odom, Jonathan McCall, Matthew Thomas (Marybeth), Bryan Thomas (Candace), James T. Hall, Mallory Cronic Wilkins (Olan), and Elyse Cronic; seven great-grandchildren, Jenna and Caden Odom, Nathan and Luke Thomas, Grant and Lucie Wilkins, and Ellie Rose Cronic. She is also survived by four siblings, Clinton Holland Jr. (Dorene), Joann Mehaffey, Walter Holland (Pat), and Lyle Holland.
The funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lambert and Rev. Allen Aiken officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Garden of Memory in Pisgah Forest.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Carolina Community Action, 181 Hillview Ext., Brevard, NC 28712 for Quebec Meal Site, Attn. Pam McCall.
