Obituary for Patricia Louise Scott (Kubiniec)
Brevard - Patricia Scott, age 93 passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
She was born in LaPorte, IN on August 12, 1928 to the late Michael and Louise Kubiniec, the youngest of four siblings.
She graduated from LaPorte High School in June 1946. She continued her education at Indiana University, graduating cum laude from the School of Business Administration in June 1950. She was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta honoray's. After moving to Cincinnati, OH to start a career, she fulfilled her dream of continuing her education and graduated from Xavior University in 1964 with a Master of Business Administration degree.
Patricia married briefly (10) years to Thomas Berkley Scott of Cincinnati who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Ted Kubiniec of Detroit, MI, Genevieve Levandoski of Racine, WI, and Amelia Ray of LaPorte, IN and Highlands, NC.
She started he career with Libby Glass sales/service office in Cincinnati in 1951 and remained there until 1987, 36 years reaching a position as Office Administrative Manager. After retiring from Libby Glass, she found an interesting position as a support assistant to nurses and social workers at the Cincinnati Council
on Aging. Patricia retired after 13 years there and completed a successful business career of 50 years.
After ending her career in Cincinnati. Pat moved to Highlands for four years and then to College Walk Retirement Community in Brevard, NC.
She enjoyed her many years of working, travelling the world, and playing bridge and other board games.
Survivors include niece, Jan Kubiniec Howard, nephews, James Levandoski and Larry Ray and several great nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte County, IN.
